EquipQR™ Image Upload - Quick Reference Card

🚀 Quick Start

1. Access Equipment

  • QR Code: Scan with mobile app
  • Direct: Navigate to Equipment → Find equipment

2. Create Work Order

  • Click "Work Orders" tab
  • Click "Create Work Order"
  • Fill title, priority, description
  • Check "Include PM Checklist" if needed

3. Upload Images

  • Scroll to "Add Note" section
  • Fill note content and hours worked
  • Click "Choose Files" to select images
  • Toggle "Private Note" if internal only
  • Click "Add Note" to save

4. Set Display Image

  • Go to "Images" tab
  • Find desired image
  • Click "Set as Display Image"

📋 PM Checklist Quick Actions

Initialize Checklist

  • Click "Initialize Checklist" button
  • Review all items in sections

Complete Items

  • Set All to OK: Quick action for good condition
  • Individual Items: Select condition (1-5) + add notes
  • Upload Photos: Show problems with images
  • Save Changes: After each section

Condition Ratings

  • 1 = Excellent ✅
  • 2 = Good ✅
  • 3 = Fair ⚠️
  • 4 = Poor ❌
  • 5 = Critical 🚨

🔧 Work Order Management

Change Status

  • Open work order details
  • Click status dropdown
  • Select: Pending → In Progress → Completed
  • Add status change notes

Add Parts/Costs

  • Go to "Costs" section
  • Click "Add Item"
  • Fill: Name, Quantity, Unit Cost
  • Add description

Private vs Public Notes

  • Private: Toggle ON for internal use only
  • Public: Toggle OFF for customer visibility

🖼️ Image Requirements

Supported Formats

  • JPG, PNG, GIF
  • Max 10MB per image
  • Up to 10 images per note

Best Practices

  • Take clear, well-lit photos
  • Include multiple angles
  • Add descriptive notes
  • Set best image as display photo

🚨 Troubleshooting

Images Not Uploading

  • Check file format (JPG/PNG/GIF)
  • Check file size (<10MB)
  • Check internet connection
  • Try smaller images
  • Refresh the page
  • Check work order is saved
  • Wait a few minutes
  • Contact administrator

PM Checklist Issues

  • Check internet connection
  • Save manually
  • Look for error messages
  • Try refreshing page
